The Roundup

Delta's first Santa Rosa flight. I love STS. More airlines is a great thing. Delta Air Lines starts service at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport on Tuesday, October 6, with a ribbon-cutting on The Flying Ace patio at 9 a.m. (Snoopy, wine and cupcakes). The inaugural direct flight from Salt Lake City lands at 10:41 a.m. KSRO

Guy Fieri's "Tournament of Champions" in Windsor. You can sit in the live audience for free when season 8 tapes on Conde Lane, October 8 through 23. There are morning and afternoon sessions, tickets go through On-Camera Audiences, and you have to be 18 or older. Press Democrat

North Coast kelp. Many of our kelp forests off our coast have been devastated. I so appreciated the volunteers working to bring them back. About 95% of the kelp is gone along the Marin, Sonoma and Mendocino shoreline. Learn more on the restoration effort in this article. Bohemian

Business Happenings

New this year: Sax's Joint at Pronzini Pumpkin Patch — This looks like a fun way to take the kids to get pumpkins. The Petaluma patch on Adobe Road now has Sax's Joint serving food, beer and wine Friday through Sunday on the café deck over the lake, with live music under the big tent Saturday and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. Admission covers the corn pit, hay tower, petting zoo, bounce houses and tomahawk throw; a punch card adds the haunted trail, the train to the Western Village and the Goliath slide. Pumpkins run $2 to $50, and leashed dogs are welcome. (Visit Petaluma)

Fall drinks: pumpkin spice lattes and treats — Sonoma Magazine rounded up the county's pumpkin drinks and bakes, plus the season's most photogenic drinks at cafes and pop-ups. (Sonoma Magazine)

Moving in: Ataria Coffee Collective — Coffee & Moore in Sebastopol has closed, and it looks like Ataria Coffee Collective is moving into the space. (Ataria Coffee Collective)
