City Hall is moving two blocks north. The council unanimously approved a property swap that puts City Hall in the former AT&T building on Third Street: a $4.55 million initial payment plus $17 million to $20 million in renovations. Fixing the aging current campus was estimated at more than $100 million. KSRO

Airport noise fixes are on the table. County aviation officials will consider $415,000 in responses to the 2024 FAA departure route that has drawn tens of thousands of complaints. On the list: a $270,000 study of new flight procedures and a $145,000 voluntary "Fly Quiet" program. KSRO

Waymo is cleared for Sonoma County. The CPUC approved the robotaxi company's expansion into 18 California counties, covering all road types, day and night, rain and fog included. Approval is not deployment: the rollout is gradual, with no local launch date yet. Electrek

Street party pilot: Ross Street Live — A block of Ross Street behind The Corner Store Collective is closed to cars through Oct 31, with a stage, food trucks, cornhole, ping-pong, and 13 dates of live music: the California Theatre leads Fridays, Cooperage Brewing Saturdays, and SoCo Market Sundays.
